Number of Species Recorded per 10km Square:

Clicking on the link below  brings up a table showing the 10km squares within the county which have been well recorded and those requiring substantially increased coverage. The number of species of moth recorded in Lancashire on the 1st January 2008 was 1,490. This demonstrates how far we have to go even in the relatively well recorded squares.
